Given the costs associated with purchasing new tires, retreading your existing tires is the smart, economical, cost saving way to run your business. Under certain conditions, a tire can be retreaded up to four or five times -- of course it all depends on the stress to the tire casing, but normally you can expect to retread a tire at least twice. Each time, you will get your tires back looking and working like new.

Our OTR customers realize further significant savings by using their own casing for retreading, instead of running it to destruction. At Kal Tire we encourage all our OTR customers to pull their tire when its useful life is over, thus saving them the added cost of having to purchase an additional casing for retreading. By doing this, our customers save between $150-$350 per tire, depending on size.
